Making Friends
Well since I have been down here I have made a lot of friends. It was a little rough at first because only like four out of the twenty kids in the youth group speak english and my spanish is a little rough, but it is coming a long very nicely. I have really made a lot of friends especially because of the Christmas play we are doing, and me choreographing dances and teaching then dances and them teaching me spanish, one of the girls that has helped me choreograph the dances speaks a little english but always makes me practice my spanish all the time. Which gets a little frustrating because its hard to explain things for me but it has helped me a lot. But it feels really good to make friends it makes me not miss home so much and all that. Its crazy because the friends I have made here are exactly like the friends at home so its like nothing really changed which makes me feel really good. Well stay in touch and keep checking out my blog so you can see how our Christmas play went.

Hey Noah!! It is so great to read your updates and going-ons in the D.R. Thanks for taking the time to share! My husband, Ted, and I have met you a few times. I'm Robin Bailey and we are currently in a small group with your folks. :)
Well, back in November I was praying for you and your mission trip. The impression on my heart during prayer, by God I beleive, is the profound impact that God is making in a life back here becasue of your obedience. Specifically, I sensed that there is a classmate you graduated with, someone you didn't even know well and would never even suspect was watching, but who was and is watching you and is going to make different choices for their life becuase of the obedicence and heart you are living out. I'm sure many are different watching you and I'm sure you're a different young man than you were before this journey, but I was touched by the thought of this classmate who was going to make different decisions out of their life because of you. God is so pleased with you.
Bless you Noah and have a Merry Christmas!!
In Him,
Robin
Hey, Noah...
It's GREAT reading your blog and seeing the pictures. Not only do I have many memories of the church and the country, but I know some of the people that you are with...which is amazing! They are fantastic people...and I wish I could be there with you (at least for a week!).
Please say hello for me to the Roots, John, Diana & Mabel.
Much love from Portland...and Merry Christmas, too!
Tim
